Advisory board

The advisory board as a central functional element of corporate governance is an advisory and control instrument of the MESH® INSTITUTE. It accompanies the institute and its associated bodies with its experience and specific know-how in order to ensure and continuously develop the quality of the operative work in the long term. A regular evaluation by the advisory board contributes to the functionality of the self-control system and serves to account for the use of funds to public institutions. At the same time, the permanent contact between science and practice is institutionalized and the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas is promoted.

The advisory board has the task of critically and constructively questioning opinions, positions and planned decisions and enriching them with a second opinion. It should support the orientation towards customer value and competitiveness and contribute to a positive company development.

The advisory board consists of representatives from business and science and advises the MANAGEMENT BOARD of the MESH® INSTITUTE as legal sponsor — including the MESH® ACADEMY | MESH® IN-HOUSE | MESH® CONSULTING and MESH® RESEARCH — in full independence on all questions of teaching and the promotion of science. IT is a discussion partner on general as well as on specific topics of business practice. In doing so, it provides support in the selection and realisation of projects worthy of support.
